When I received a little knitted doll last Christmas I was so touched by the mere thoughtfulness of the giver- my best friend! Then I vowed to learn the craft. I enrolled myself in a week of knitting lessons in Knit Summer Camps. And I was amazed to know there are more to do in these camps. There are more to discover.
I can not be stopped anymore to learn further. I want to weave baskets, make fantastic beaded necklaces. I want to knit purses, wallets, small things to be given this Christmas.
There are so many knit summer camps in every area. For knitting is such an old hobby that originated from ancestors and passed on and kept alive! There are even free patterns to be shown in the internet.
Knitting is not an easy feat. Patience is a must here. But as soon as you finish your project the feeling of fulfillment is much satisfying. I can’t sell my patterns for any amount. For I spent hours knitting and redoing what I had knit. My week in Kids Knit Summer is a worthwhile. I will spend another week in these camps to learn new techniques in knitting.
