Some preventions from heat during summer camp activities

Most of the time when summer season is coming you can never see a person living inside their houses and do nothing. Because during this season is the best time to enjoy the heat of the sun and do whatever activities you wanted to do. Especially the teens or the kids, this is the best time for them to enjoy while they were in vacation from school. But the most exciting moment they are mostly craving is when they were joining the summer camp programs where they can enjoy a lot of interesting and adventurous activities. However, there are some precautions that kids should take into account when joining the camp since not all of the activities could be enjoyable and there are some risks from it especially if you would not mind it much.

Now, what are these risks? Most of the risks you could get from summer are sunburn and heat stroke. Sounds not really serious but if not quickly prevented it could turn into more risky and can even turns you to death. Most of the heat stroke occurs when your body gets too hot and you could not manage to cool it off. You could also get the heat stroke from the heat itself and due to the lack of hydration. How to determine if you have heat stroke? Through its symptoms like nausea, headache, dry skin, mental confusion, dizziness, unconscious, convulsions and even to death. If you feel those symptoms the best prevention to give are exact hydration, give salt tablets, orange juice or any other juices which has high stages of potassium. If you were in a summer day camp it is advice for you to cut one of its outdoor activities to avoid from the intense heat conditions.

While Sunburn on the other hand could be from the ultraviolet rays of the sun; its symptoms mostly does not appear. But after an hour of exposure it emerged and would get serious if not immediately prevented that could lead to second-degree burns, dehydration, shock and even death. Sunburn symptoms usually start from the peeling skin, severe and mild pain right exactly at the area where it is affected. To avoid from sunburn exposure it is advice that you wear hats which has a wide brim to cover your neck and face. And wearing protective clothing is also advice.
