Wilderness Summer Camps for Teens

There are so many different wilderness summer camps themes that a parents can choose for their children. A wilderness camp is comparable to an adventure camp though it is more specific in themes and activities. The program and themes may include: music and dance, living in community, life of the spirit, art for the young adult or teens, cooperative service and work, wilderness experiences, survival training in the wilderness, organic farm and gardens and a lot more.

Though, mainly most of these camp programs boil down to one thing- helping kids, teens, young adults, adults and family with life. The use of nature in guiding children and students had been used already for so long.

Farm and Wilderness is an example of wilderness camp located in the Vermont woods, an in dept understanding of their community, themselves and their world is the main objective of this camp with the assistance of nature.

Calvin Coolidge was born and buried in Plymouth Vermont; he was United States of America’s 30th president. Besides this historical information, Vermont is such a wonderful and interesting place to visit or travel. How wonderful? Let us see.

Beside the wilderness summer camp, Vermont has so unbelievable attractions. New England Maple has the largest collection of syrup Museum in Pittsford. Another worldly attraction is Santa’s land in the United States. The World’s Largest Happy Bee is also located in West Dover overlooking a rolling backyard.
