Canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, zip line, fly fishing and rock climbing are just some of my favorites sports but recently I have fallen deeply in love with canoeing. There are people who would prefer to canoe on rapid waters and experience the thrill and challenge when they do battle with water’s current. Though I also enjoy this canoeing in a calm blue water lagoon is another experience especially when the lagoon or water is surrounded by thick trees or woods and the sounds of chirping birds.
Those are some of the teen summer camp that I really enjoyed. Some of the best destination for a water canoe is in Pennsylvania. The guide pointed out that the canoeing activity is for all ages but I prefer to say that perhaps children 10 and above should participate on this for children below these ages has very fragile muscles. But an expert can enlighten us on this belief of mine. Summer camp activities vary from different age group.
Pennsylvania is a known place for water activities. Fishing is one leisure activity that both adults and children indulge. For adventure summer camp can be joined by all age range from the young to the adults. So I saw kids paddling successfully besides me in Pennsylvania. I was still getting the feel of the water before embarking on a private canoeing activity. I remember my teen summer camp last year which taught us to navigate our ways to rough water and two weeks after I also joined an adventure summer camp and this time the activities is on a higher adrenaline level.
Thus this time I wanted to savor and take time lowly and just enjoy the water ride. We left the next day for a private sojourn. This time our cabin is just a few meters away from the water. My family and I then settled in and canoed of course without guides. And as the wind kisses my cheeks I gave in to the urge of closing my eyes and I feel the spirit of the earth embraces me.
We stayed for a week min this private sojourn and return home with something new to experience. They say words are powerful tool but this time I know I failed to describe our family summer camp activity.
