Of course life is still beautiful, active and fun even tied to a wheel chair. Being tied on a wheel chair really limits ones actions and activities. Yet, wheel chair or not it seems that the basketball spirit has gone to encourage disabled person to shoot dribble and play basketball even on a wheel chair. Wheelchair Basketball groups like any other group has taken time to be acknowledged and helped by society. The first very famous group is the Chicago Wheelchair Bulls who are funded by the famous basketball team Chicago Bulls and the basketball legend Michael Jordan.
The Chicago Wheelchair Bulls now held Basketball Summer Camps in Addison Chicago, Central Park. It was nice to see small kids on wheelchair being coach by the best coaches in town.
Life was hard enough for people with able limbs so more with those who lived on a wheelchair. But life is much kinder when society help fit those who are special and support them. Though Basketball Wheelchair Camp is quite rare to find still scout the area because you might stumble into one of this camp and you can enroll your kids; with the Chicago Wheelchair Bulls now getting the support of big companies and getting more attention at that; maybe a summer camp with the same goal is already in your area.
Wheelchair basketball is not only for kids but for all age range. So, you can play this game without any regard of your age range.
