There are different varieties of summer camps; parents are having a hard time choosing the right summer camps for their children. Yet deciding for your children isn’t always a good idea. It is better if you let your children be a part of choosing the summer camps for them; after all it is they who will be attending summer camps.

First of all summer camps have four types of camps, the day programs, day programs with trips, the over night (sleep away) and the special needs camps. These types of camps are also categorized by gender (for girls or boys only or co-ed) and by age. And camps have specialties such as adventure camps, art, and music, sports, and dance and so on.

Is there a specific camp that your child would want enhance, learn new skills and others? Will it be good for your child to be attending a co-ed camp or not?
